I've been lurking on bluelight for a while now and this is my first post so I do apologise if I break any rules, and if any mods think this is belongs in a different subforum please feel free to move it.
Anyway, its well established that mixing Tramadol and amphetamines is a very bad idea due to a significant risk of seizures as both drugs lower seizure threshold dramatically.
Ergo, I wondered what would happen if a weak benzo was thrown into the mix, so that it would lower seizure threshold, but not overpower the stimulation effects.
So, I gave in to my curiosity and took 3x 0.5mg Pyrazolam pills, 50mg of speed paste (of fairly high purity, snorted), and 200mg Tramadol, and in my opinion it was an excellent combination; Tramadol significantly amplified the positive effects of the amphetamines and Pyrazolam didn't overpower the stimulation whatsoever. No tremors, and no seizures. It extended the duration of the amphetamine effects, I was in a great mood, felt more focused, motivated, physically and mentally stimulated all day, with no anxiety, jitteryness, awful comedown, or vasoconstriction as I usually get when just taking amphetamines alone.
But this isn't a trip report, and I don't want to recommend anyone else tries this combination until I get some answers to the following - as I think harm reduction is most important here...
Considering that this combination with a benzo may reduce the risk of seizure, is the mixture of Tramadol's SNRI properties and amphetamine's release of dopamine and norepinephrine neurotoxic/dangerous in any other way?
