Here is mine. This reiterates a couple lessons learned so painfully the hard way.

Foolish Heart
Lyrics By: Robert Hunter
Music By: Jerry Garcia

Carve your name, carve your name in ice and wind
Search for where, search for where the rivers end
Or where the rivers start
Do everything that's in you, you feel to be your part
But never give your love my friend unto a foolish heart
Unto a foolish heart

Dare to leap, leap from ledges high and wide
Learn to speak, speak with wisdom like a child
Directly to the heart
Crown yourself the king of clowns or stand way back apart
But never give your love my friend unto a foolish heart
Unto a foolish heart

Shun a friend, shun a brother and a friend
Never look, never look around the bend
Or check the weather chart
Sign the Mona Lisa with a spray can, call it art
But never give your love my friend unto a foolish heart
Unto a foolish heart

A foolish heart will call on you to toss your dreams away
Then turn around and blame you for the way you went astray
A foolish heart will cost you sleep and often make you curse
A selfish heart is trouble, but a foolish heart is worse

Bite the hand, bite the hand that bakes your bread
Dare to leap, where the angels fear to tread
Till you are torn apart
Stoke the fires of paradise with coals from hell to start
But never give you love my friend unto a foolish heart
Unto a foolish heart

...or an improvement over my first attempt. Specifically the version from Soldier Field on 2015-07-05. This song really resonates through the years gone by.

Attics of my Life
Lyrics By: Robert Hunter
Music By: Jerry Garcia

In the attics of my life, full of cloudy dreams unreal.
Full of tastes no tongue can know, and lights no eyes can see.
When there was no ear to hear, you sang to me.

I have spent my life seeking all that's still unsung.
Bent my ear to hear the tune, and closed my eyes to see.
When there was no strings to play, you played to me.

In the book of love's own dream, where all the print is blood.
Where all the pages are my days, and all the lights grow old.
When I had no wings to fly, you flew to me, you flew to me.

In the secret space of dreams, where I dreaming lay amazed.
When the secrets all are told, and the petals all unfold.
When there was no dream of mine, you dreamed of me.

Is this Songs you've connected with on Psychedelics or Grateful Dead songs you've connected with on Psychedelics?
this is one of dylan's best and when I hear it sober or psychedelized, it always makes me feel the same way.
[h=2]Bob Dylan – Ballad Of A Thin Man Lyrics[/h]

You walk into the room with your pencil in your hand
You see somebody naked and you say, "Who is that man?"
You try so hard but you don't understand
Just what you will say when you get home
Because something is happening here but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

You raise up your head and you ask, "Is this where it is?"
And somebody points to you and says, "It's his"
And you say, "What's mine?" and somebody else says, "Well, what is?"
And you say, "Oh my God, am I here all alone?"
But something is happening and you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

You hand in your ticket and you go watch the geek
Who immediately walks up to you when he hears you speak
And says, "How does it feel to be such a freak?"
And you say, "Impossible!" as he hands you a bone
And something is happening here but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

You have many contacts among the lumberjacks
To get you facts when someone attacks your imagination
But nobody has any respect, anyway they already expect you to all give a check
To tax-deductible charity organizations

Ah, you've been with the professors and they've all liked your looks
With great lawyers you have discussed lepers and crooks
You've been through all of F. Scott Fitzgerald's books
You're very well-read, it's well-known
But something is happening here and you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

Well, the sword swallower, he comes up to you and then he kneels
He crosses himself and then he clicks his high heels
And without further notice, he asks you how it feels
And he says, "Here is your throat back, thanks for the loan"
And you know something is happening but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

Now, you see this one-eyed midget shouting the word "Now"
And you say, "For what reason?" and he says, "How"
And you say, "What does this mean?" and he screams back, "You're a cow!
Give me some milk or else go home"
And you know something's happening but you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

Well, you walk into the room like a camel, and then you frown
You put your eyes in your pocket and your nose on the ground
There ought to be a law against you comin' around
You should be made to wear earphones
'Cause something is happening and you don't know what it is
Do you, Mr. Jones?

im pretty quasimoto (madlib) did a lot of producing under the influence of shrooms on the album "the unseen" that shit was pure gold for me when i was shrooming and toking.

this Icelandic or finnish dream-pop-experimental group 'paavoharju' brought me back to my childhood and states of peace and wonderment. this was the best song on the album i listened to while i was on acid in a blissfull state of arising and passing away.

This blew my mind a few weeks ago after plugging 65mg of aMT.

Abby God so many but here's three,

Ohhhoohhhhohooo

Am I a good man?
Am I a fool.. m'I a fool?
Am I weak?!
Somebody tell me
Or am I just playing it cool
I have a woman
And I know shes no good
Still hold my head up high tryin to do the things a good man should
Does it make me a good man?
Am I good man?
Am I a fool.. m'I a fool?
Am I weak?!
Somebody tell me
Or am I just playin it cool
Shes has made, well, my whole life a mess
Still on the words staying by for love so she can always have the very best
Does that make me a good man?
Am I a good man?
Am I a fool..m'I a fool?
Am I weak?!
Somebody tell me
Or am I just playin it cool
The best of her love she gives to someone else
Still before I hurt the little girl I would rather hurt myself
Does it make me a good man?
Am I a good man?
Am I a fool.. m'I a fool?
Am I weak?!
Somebody tell me
Or am I just playin it cool
She has made my whole life a mess
But still I work day and night for her so she can always have the very best
Does that make me a good man?
Am I a good man?
Am I a fool.. m'I a fool?
Am I weak?!
Somebody tell me
Or am I just playin it cool
Does that make me a good man?
Am I a good man? [x5]
Am I good?
Am I good?

Trapeze Swinger,
Please, remember me
Happily
By the rosebush laughing
With bruises on my chin
The time when
We counted every black car passing
Your house beneath the hill
And up until
Someone caught us in the kitchen
With maps, a mountain range,
A piggy bank
A vision too removed to mention
But

Please, remember me
Fondly
I heard from someone you're still pretty
And then
They went on to say
That the pearly gates
Had some eloquent graffiti
Like 'We'll meet again'
And 'Fuck the man'
And 'Tell my mother not to worry'
And angels with their gray
Handshakes
Were always done in such a hurry
And

Please, remember me
At Halloween
Making fools of all the neighbors
Our faces painted white
By midnight
We'd forgotten one another
And when the morning came
I was ashamed
Only now it seems so silly
That season left the world
And then returned
And now you're lit up by the city
So

Please, remember me
Mistakenly
In the window of the tallest tower call
Then pass us by
But much too high
To see the empty road at happy hour
Leave and resonate
Just like the gates
Around the holy kingdom
With words like 'Lost and Found' and 'Don't Look Down'
And 'Someone Save Temptation'
And

Please, remember me
As in the dream
We had as rug-burned babies
Among the fallen trees
And fast asleep
Aside the lions and the ladies
That called you what you like
And even might
Give a gift for your behavior
A fleeting chance to see
A trapeze
Swing as high as any savior
But

Please, remember me
My misery
And how it lost me all I wanted
Those dogs that love the rain
And chasing trains
The colored birds above there running
In circles round the well
And where it spells
On the wall behind St. Peter's
So bright with cinder gray
And spray paint
'Who the hell can see forever?'
And

Please, remember me
Seldomly
In the car behind the carnival
My hand between your knees
You turn from me
And said 'The trapeze act was wonderful
But never meant to last'
The clown that passed
Saw me just come up with anger
When it filled with circus dogs
The parking lot
Had an element of danger
So

Please, remember me
Finally
And all my uphill clawing
My dear
But if I make
The pearly gates
Do my best to make a drawing
Of G-d and Lucifer
A boy and girl
An angel kissing on a sinner
A monkey and a man
A marching band
All around the frightened trapeze swingers

Sleepyhouse Blind Melon

No time frame, for what I need to do today
Here at the yellow house. I think I'm gonna play
With some free livin' lads down the street aways away

As I feel the moon rise
The time that all feels is the right time
Here in our sleepy house
As I wipe eye bugs away, the candle flickers at me to say
And in my head I sometimes pray

Hey aren't ya feeling fine
As I was as a little child
And I'm feeling better when I'm high
With a red light shinning on a little unity

The mistakes that I've made
No they don't seem to bother me
I sure as hell don't feel like
I missed any kind of train
If I could only show you how I feel
Then you wouldn't bother me
And then maybe you'd see why we don't mind being blind

As I was as a little child
And I'm feeling better when I'm high
With a red light shinning on a little unity
I'll probably be in a little while.

Mo later....

P.S. Another great thread Steamy!

The BB King and Jimi Hendrix jam album was probably the best thing I've ever heard while tripping. About 9 minutes in jimi starts playing the craziest shit, which makes for the most intense and amazing synesthesia you'll ever have. First time I heard it, I was on 4 drops of liquid acid, it literally felt like I was having sex with the music.

We dropped acid and attended the local modern art gallery. As we were starting to come up we searched our phones to find a common album which we could both plug our head phones into and wander hand in hand around the gallery.

The only one we found that we each had was coldplay's viva la vida. To this day I can't listen to the opening riffs of that album without these visions...

I don't really do too many droogz anymore but here ya go:

Hi! I'm new and have only done 1P-LSD. My trips are always centered around music (thus far) and I enjoy it very much.

Apparently, the guitarist was on LSD during this song and was told to play "as if he had just heard his mother passed away". Even sober, you can feel this man being torn apart, hurdling from anger, to bitterness to unrelenting torrents of sadness.

Last but not least, this goes straight to my inner child:

Amazing song, amazing video, very impressive to watch while tripping (as with any Woodkid song/video). Makes me feel like I'm 8 years old again, carving wooden swords with my dad, battling unseen monsters with my friends, building camps and thinking up the greatest things et cetera...
