Simple games for older relative?

I’m looking for suggestions for an older relative who only plays solitaire on a PC and is not really computer savvy, but is interested in games. Does anyone have any (serious) suggestions? Thanks!

Do they have a relatively modern smartphone/mobile? My Mum (who also plays solitaire dozens of times a day) plays WordsWithFriends2 (online scrabble) obsessively on her mobile.

Oh that's more than good enough. It'll work on an iPhone 4s. Also iPads and laptops though.
