^ Yep. For all the flaws I thought it had, it's still not a bad movie by any means (imo). I generally have really low expectations for Hollywood films, but SLP met (just barely) my requirements for a worthwhile experience. I think Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro really over-played their characters, and so did Jennifer Lawrence to a certain degree, hers was the most interesting and dynamic performance of anyone in the film. Forgetting how good Quvenzhané Wallis was in Beasts of the Southern Wild, Jennifer Lawrence really deserved to win that Oscar.
