Shitty Poppy Seeds

^^ It's all about the business though. If it turns them a profit then I can't see why the pharm companies growing in Tasmania wouldn't start growing the codeine-only poppies exclusively and import any needed morphine. Even if we are a top consumer of morhpine products that might only constitute a tiny percentage of opiate sales for companies like Johnson &
Johnson. The bottom line is MONEY.

This may not happen over night, but I think poppy seed tea might be a tale your children may not believe... sort of like the heroin otc in our grand parents generation.

^^ I agree. Anyway the whole topic is interesting just from a science and GM perspective, thanks for bringing it up and posting the links nabollocks :)

^ If I were in charge, I would want them to keep growing morphine poppies for the export potential. A lot of developing nations need more morphine, and it's a good idea for Australia to increase and diversify our exports. Reading about the lack of morphine use in other nations I get the impression there is a market there just waiting for us to tap into.

Under the same argument, I would be against importing needed morphine. I'm not a socialist-commie-pinko type, but there are certain things I believe the government should regulate and take care of and the provision of medicine is one of those. Having our own source right here may keep it cheaper for us.

Anyone any luck lately with the seeds?

Tried a few times but no luck. Thinking of washing 1kg and drinking over a couple of hours to avoid OD. That's if I can drink a litre of that awful stuff.

Wouldnt it be better to grow it? Ud have to wait but itll be worth it in the end.

I've switched brands and found an older batch that are quite strong. Unfortunately, in a few short weeks I think I've bought up nearly all these seeds in my metropolitan area.

I've noticed over the years that seeds seem to be stronger toward the end of the year in the summer months and they get quite shitty over winter. Not sure if that means anything or whether that's just been a coincidence for me.

poppy seed tea

hello,
i dont really have any contacts for illegal fun so i have to resort to legal highs.

i tried poppy seed tea a week or so ago with poppy seeds bought from one of the major supermarkets (woolies i think). I can't even be sure if it did much. Anyway I read just recently that the seeds bought from coles and woolies are no good for making tea as they have already been washed thoroughly.

Have others found this to be true?

Thanks

^^ that's the general concensus here in Australia now. I know rm2x has been doing to odd poppy seed wash over the last decade and when I spoke to him last he said he had had zero luck recenlty. If you're after legal opiates here you're best off buying codeine + paracetamol/ibuprofen meds and doing a cold water extraction.

Be careful though, even codeine is addictive.

^ I bought some seeds recently from a small continental store, they specifically said Indian blue poppy seeds, looked really good. Were a bit pricier and I had high hopes, but nothing. The wash looked the same sort of light yellow colour as the coles/woolies brands of seeds, so nothing.

Actually ages ago I had one wash from the normal brands turn out extra dark and with a strong smell and taste but still nothing.

This seems like such a waste of time and money - awful to ingest, no one ever reports any high, and the inaccuracy of the dosing means you could die if you're not careful!

Are some danger because of pesticides or any thing like that? If they are sold for house art or something like that is there a chemical to preserve them. I might sound dumb but I kust want to be safe. I am wanting to use this for a way to detox from oxy. I am fearfull of those damn WD's. Please help or advice....

Seeds can be found if you look hard enough. [removed] - there are still seeds being produced from within Australia that are not being washed. These seeds are cheaper too, because they can generally be bought in larger packages.

[removed] were selling a brand that had a very strong batch, but they seemed to be an older batch and most are gone now around where I am (probably due to me).

If you're going to persist with supermarket seeds, keep the receipt, make a small test batch and if it's shithouse take the remaining seeds back and get your money back.

I reckon seeds from [removed] will get better around late spring, early summer. It's happened the last few years.

Btw, I don't know why people are buying from [removed] they only sell Papaver Rhoeas poppy seeds (look at the back of the pack) - so they're not even the real deal with the happy goodies inside them. Perhaps it's different in other states?

I'm sorta glad it's hard to find good seeds, because it forces me to have a break from this shit!

What is the consensus on pods in Australia?

To my absolute delight, my local florist began stocking these huge, green pods. I took some to the counter to buy them, and realised they were fake. The dude knew what I was up to as well, really embarrassing!

Edit: Just realised the point about papaver rhoeas has already been made, and the IGA seeds. ah well....

[EDIT: Removed a whole bunch of sources, please don't post these. hoptis]

Yeah im thinking PST might be a thing of the past. I can remember in the days the very much so non placebo feeling from them. Many of my friends even gave me shit untill I gave them some once. They were really really intoxicating.

Maybe cleaning methoeds have changed because its a dieing art. In my opinion for the better. Ignorance might be bliss with opiates.

20kg bags of the finest... where do you think your local bakery buys their bulk seeds??

If you cannot work that one out you should not be trying to extract opiate dust off poppy seed.

^ I've also found that poppy seed can be purchased in CHEAP bulk as fodder for livestock. This seed isn't washed at all, but it's not recommended for human consumption and the few times I did buy it I noticed small white termite-like bugs floating around the tea. They were dead, but god knows what sort of shit they had climbing around in. Great high, but for the purposes of HR I agree with nabollocks and reckon you're better buying wholesale.

Poppy seeds dont contain any active alkaloids. Its mainly the ooze that could stick onto the seeds if they arnt washed. Better off growing them.

Have you ever tried growing your own?

I did a trial with a legal poppy last year.

The bloody birds around my place came and ate the lot.

The whole town had poppies growing over summer. Nearly every house withing a 5km radius had poppies growing in their garden :) Those bloody birds shat my poppies around the town.

Good thing they were legal.
