Serotonin restoring natural foods?

Actually yes you will. If you replenish your serotonin levels then they're replenished. If you eat a few pills and then a few bananas the next day you're obviously not going to be anywhere near as stocked with serotonin as the night b4.
But if you just have one pill, then you eat a few bits of the above listed food, you'll pill just about as hard the next night, situation willing.
You should notice the different in how you feel. Happy or drained. If you're still drained you probably won't get much out of pilling on the second night.
 
Sustagen n up n go are seriously good after a night out when u can't eat, one or two of them n sports drink and water and your sorted

will eating sliced turkey, like the stuff you put in sandwiches just be as good as normal turkey meat?

I think so, payaya, also try some fresh ripe bananas. Thanks for bumping this topic, lots of good information. I recommend 5-HTP capsules if you can get them, they seem to work very well. However, attempting to obtain 5-HTP from foods has one extra side-benefit: you actually give your body extra energy and nutrients that it needs instead of just taking a capsule for one purpose!

I always thought that one of the key items written into the australian constitution was that free trade was always to be allowed from state to state/territory, hence you can buy porn from canberra if it is illegal in your state, etc.
So it seems strange that you cant get it outside of Qlnd.
I couldn't find 5htp on that page btw, what section is it under ?
 
ONe thing i rather enjoy/love! is the baby food my mummy still makes for me each morning. I'm not a fan of veggies and fruit for various reaspns, but this one is always great.
Get some coffee dipping biscuits crush em,, orange juice(freshly squeezed) and bananas all mashed up and combined. MY my i love it, and it seems it is actually rather good for pilling and general happiness purposes, go BL!
 
Bananas, turkey, etc, contain tryptophan, not 5-HTP. Tryptophan is the precursor to 5-htp, 5-htp is the precursor to serotonin. As i understand it, the "time" taken to turn tryptophan into 5-htp is much longer than the "time" taken to turn 5-htp into serotonin. I believe that this difference in time often doesnt not allow for worthwhile peaking two nights in a row.
BTW, you also need to regain your electrolyte levels after being out dancing/on tha gear all night. A drink like powerade or gatorade are really good for this.

i recently read that salt is a natural means to biuld serotonin levels back up. Marmite/vegimite is a good source and basically anything else with high level of salt doses. This probably explains why turkey is a good rebuilder of serotonin, but leaves me without an explanation for bananas!

Here's an interesting thing.
Before I even knew about seratonin/5htp or any of that stuff (pre Bluelight days), I used to crave peanut butter on toast, eggs on toast or a glass of milk the day after a night out on e.
(After a night out just drinking, I want chips or something greasy)
Now I know why! I just listened to what my body wanted and lo and behold... it wanted seratonin-replenishing foods. Aren't we amazing creatures :)
 
exactly id liek to know why u cant get 5htp exported outside of qld cos i order pron from act all the time lol i knwo they 2 diff things but my point is whats the diff between exporting diff things from interstate

However, most meats are in the range of 160 to 260 mg/100 g, (chicken is about 250) with organ meats ranging between 220 and 330. These figures certainly do not compel meat eating. Compare with soybeans, split peas, cheese and cashews! What you really should be eating is a cheese omlette, followed by some cashews!
