Greetings Users,

I am nearing my wits end while trying to gather up proper equipment for the distilling of various liquids/solvents. At this time I am unable to post attachments, but I will insert links to various pieces of equipment I have come across. For those of you familiar with "Dr. Drool" I aspire to mimic his setup, but not for similar means to an end. If you notice that I am missing something please inform. Thank you in advance!

Also, if this post happens to be against the rules please inform immediately. I am fairly new here.. 8(

Depending on what your doing - would a decent thermometer not be needed / glass funnels not be needed?

I don't think your post will be allowed on here - synth discussion is often frowned upon :| (some simple tek's are OK).

Good luck

When I was distilling water by the gallon. All I did was use a pressure cooker where the pressure release valve had the same threads as a compression splice. Ran copper tubing spiraling down a bucket with water to cool off the steam vapors and distilled water would drain out the end of that copper tube. However, that water in that bucket gets hot after a while so that's another problem.
