Megathread Scary or horror films

Both of these are very entertaining and fun to watch. Both are reminiscent of other films, not A+ material by any means. Kinda falls apart at the end (especially apostle) , but I enjoyed both.
 
Nothing really fazes me now as I've seen everything.
I remember as an early teen I found the ending of Don't Look Now chilling/scary
 
It's not exactly horror, but I found Irreversible plenty traumatic and disturbing.

That movie and in particular the end message - le temps detruit tout - left me depressed for ages and occasionally still does. Probably because the messages ("time destroys all things") is so true.
