wow. i just clicked into the heavy bass and drum sound of thrones... i always loved the band spazz. i always wanted to be able to play bass some where between spazz and this... totally surprised i never heard of this before. figures they are from Olympia too. thanks a lot for the post..

my friend actually has a ton of sunn0))) records and stuff in that genre. i never really got too into it, but i liked the melvins... i know i heard high on fire too, but must've not been too impressed... had no idea about that guy though. put the throne album on my you tube likes to remember them. i'll be sure checking out their other stuff.

I didn't think much about High On Fire at first but it oddly got better the more I listened to it. Melvins had that effect too but not nearly as much.
