Hello,

I got a very young San Pedro a couple months ago, mail order so it came wrapped in paper. Planted it in small pot in a 50/50 potting soil/cactus soil mix. I set it in full sun immediately, now it has a crusty spot that is white/tan and a good portion of the lower half is white (its about 3-4in. tall). im thinking it got a sunburn or something. any other thoughts?
I did bring it inside and left in my room for a few weeks, now its back outside as of tuesday. Bad idea maybe?
Also, im watering it every 2-3 weeks.

any kind of feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
DTHM

Has it sprouted roots already? It could be root rot. I've always heard to leave the cactus on its side until roots sprout and then to stand it up in some soil.
