San Pedro and diarrhea?

I'm partaking in a shamanic San Pedro ceremony and am wondering what others experiences have been with San Pedro in regards to vomiting and/or diarrhea?

Expect to vomit.
I have never experienced diarrhoea. But that's partly why it is customary to fast before the trip.

Just try to hold off on vomiting until you are at least experiencing some effects, IMO.
The purge can often be of great relief and open the floodgates of psychedelia.
Don't fight it, just listen to your body. Mescaline (even in pure form) is known to cause vomiting.

Go with it; it's all part of the trip

You'll more than likely puke up pigs in a blanket like a sick fucking dog. You may need to shit as well - make sure you know where the toilet is.

^ yeah, choke down a couple of cups of boiled down, concentrated, bitter Trichocerus snot, using some other juice or sweet drink as a chaser.
Belly full of that on a mescaline come-up seems to bring most people at least close to the edge of spewing.

Maybe try ginger or something to manage the nausea rather than vomiting?
