Greenpeace has opposed oil drilling in the Arctic on the grounds that oil drilling would cause damage to the Arctic ecosystem and that there are no safety plans in place to prevent oil spills.

I am opposed to it too, if cleaning Gulf of Mexico was tough and costly, the artic would be a nightmare.

poppy straw is next to useless unless you have it in enormous amounts, and then it has to be processed and refined to be anything useful
