RIP Jah Shaka

I'm honestly shocked this thread hasn't got any posts apart from my small few.

May God have mercy on me the next time I see anyone mention Roots, Reggae or Dubstep on here. Mind you most of you lot don't know Dubstep as the original DMZ Crew made it, you are into Brostep, Loefah - Horror show means nothing to you let alone Jon E Cash Black Ops & Sublow.

I think Shaka got a bit forgotten by some over the last 20 years or so, apart from the true reggae aficianados like us mebbe

I doubt that anyone who ever saw him live would forget - impossible!

This is Jah Shaka's finest album and how I will always remember him.
It's over thirty minutes of prayer to Jah.

I used to listen to this daily as a part of my daily prayer and meditation. I quit listening to it a couple of years ago because I felt convicted about believing in Christianity, but praying to Jah instead of God the father through Christ.

I'm listening to it now in memory of Jah Shaka. I have the whole thing memorized like an old friend.

Jah Shaka's masterpiece. I give you:
"My Prayer"
