Heroin Restore and lower tolerance

Have you ever abstained from doing heroin to restore and lower back your tolerance? does it work with heroin (snorted)?

I noticed that naturally I built up a slight tolerance over time, like at first I used 30/40mg daily and now about 0.1g daily but I'll be without h for about 10 days...will I get back to a lower tolerance and higher effects after such time without h?

Opioid tolerance is among those which go down the fastest with abstinence but also the way back up to the previous level is similarly as fast. To give you an imagination, I OD'd on 200mg XR morphine a week after a turkey off 600mg XR per day but when I could restock I would be on 600mg/d again within a couple of weeks and would have been faster if it wasn't limited by the doc.
