I'm at a loss for words!

I chatted with Mon a fair bit back in my early days of IRC and he was such a lovely guy to chat to! Always the first to say and just an all round top guy!

I remember at one stage he was almost ready to propose to his girlfriend ...

My thoughts are with him and his family!

This is really really sad :(

I'll miss our chats (and haiku writing). You were one of the most genuine people I've come across on this site. Hope you're at peace now mon.

im in total shock.

thats insane, i talked to mon quite a bit on irc and always got into joke fights with him re: his nickname "monlovesmaria" , he was always the first person online when i woke up to go to uni ".ws -cityname- nw" checking the weather.

I even bought him lego once! he was a nice dude, a bit upset at times.

Hopefully he is at peace.

I'm still rather speechless, I really don't know what to say.

I'll miss our chats we used to have, and I feel guilty for not trying harder to get him to come to Melbourne. :(

Wherever you are Mon I hope you're happy. :(

Never knew the man... hell, I don't even read this forum seeing that I'm in the U.S.,... but for some reason I decided to read nickthecheese's journal entry this morning... no idea why. I rarely read people's journals.

Then I read this, and it makes me cry. Even if I didn't know him, he was SOMEONE'S friend, son... who knows what else... maybe he was someone's father.

Enjoy the next level fellow human. Send us a postcard.
