Relapse and asked to leave rehab

I've been through 8 rehabs over the past 30+ years (incidentally, the first one was for IV cocaine) and had varying degrees of success. I think my follow-through was much more important than the rehab itself. Once I relapsed after 3 years clean&sober and it wasn't because anything dramatic happened-- I just wanted to be high more than I wanted to be sober. It takes what it takes. Just keep trying. The only failure is in giving up completely.
