Yeah I mean the proper Blues, NOT that white man Rolling Stones stuff that sadly alot of white folks think is blues.
I'm on about open tuning, finger picking done by black folks that are from Texas, Mississippi kinda places, maybe direct off the plantation or are only one generation off that kinda thing, black men that worked mules all day & would sing the field hollers (songs like John Henry, Mean Old Stagger Lee, Standing At The Burying Ground, Old Black Gal etc......)

My personal fave Skip James tunes out of everything he did.
He did Devil Got My Woman tuned to E# which is why it sounds so unique &truly haunting.

Hard Time Killing Floor Blues is the most honest lyrics you'll ever hear.
