Here’s my system for comparing 2 rappers.

5 Main Factors and how much better one is over the other.

3pts=much better

2pts=better

1pt=slightly better

Factors: Flow, Lyricism, Rhyming, Moving, Beefs

Who has the Best Flow: Biggie. Then Eminem, Rakim…

Who is the greatest Lyricist: Nas then Biggie, Tupac-Em is great tho-

Who Rhymes Greater? : MFDoom, Eminem, Redman, Biggie.

Whose Music Moves People Most?: Tupac then Eminem.

Who are unstoppable at Rap Beefs? Eminem, Biggie,Tupac,IceCube,Nas

When you compare every single great rapper rationally with this system-like I did-the list is

1. Biggie

2. Eminem

3.Tupac=Nas

As a child of music not so much rap Eminem sucks, dude uses other peoples beats to talk over fast (see stan)
You want good rap look to Tech n9ne or the nerdcore scene.
You want good rap style music with actual talent hit up nu metal like limp bizkit...

Eminem fans just tend to be people giving MGK shit for actually getting good at music and going punk or people giving Travis Barker shit despite him being the best drummer in the world and having nearly died in a plane crash watching friends he made music with die...

Eminem is just trash dude, angry boring white trash.

i rate Eminem, but anyway here's my thinking right:cool:

1) knowing just how large infinite the rap/hip hop universe is.

2) how big infinite your brain is & my brain, every individual's brain is.

3) history too. thats also pretty big cos there's a lot individually we wouldnt know about.

There's too much style & undiscovered style "in The House" for that question to make sense to me. Ive read interviews with graffiti writers & when the topic comes up who do you rate, who do you admire. and ive never seen the same list of greats or graff superstars type thing. Depends on the person, they always have said a personal style-constellation of artists - that might include the stars but yknow, your favourite rapper matters, cos you matter more than someone else. Who speaks to your heart & brain the most, thats the best rap perrrrr

it's kinda tough to compare the old school rappers to the newer ones

i guess Eminem is good at what he does, but i can't stand him


Redman shits on him if you ask me - he's somewhere in the top 10

it's like when everybody was comparing Tupac to Biggie when they were really nothing alike so how can you compare them? idk that's how ive always felt

Big Daddy Kane with the Wrath of Kane is pretty hard to beat in his time

Big L died too soon but he was filthy - he shits on Eminem too if you ask me

Kool G Rap had the best lisp in rap and he was pretty good too

Mos Def ...Raekwon ...Q-tip ...Mac Dre was good too

leaving a lot of names out here

females might be a little easier to say who's the best....it's kinda hard to say anybody's ever been better than Meghan - right?

Eminem is unlistenable, misogynistic, whiny as shit, and just an overall bad artist.

I highly recommend you go to SoundCloud and find real good underground shit man.

What a tornado. BIG L. Only 25 yrs when he got killed.. Modern rap would look way different and probably be suffering from massive blood loss cos he was fierce.

Everyone should check out a Big L track if you havent. If you like Eminem or 90's rap with crazy swagger.

And a few others that spit bars at light speed without mumbling bullshit? Joyner Lucas or Logic.

Love Eminem, but Biggie and Tupac=Nas (are they the same person?) I don't consider in the top. Not near it.

The music industry. Pre-emptively owns, bankrolls & breathes master rights for Misogyny compared to Eminem's own little thought bubbles. Rape before you even walk in a door - once again an almost pre-emptive ownership of rape.
