Rainbow Beach suggestions?

I've been in Rainbow Beach for a couple of weeks and I have a couple more weeks here. I've been over to Fraser Island, been to the beach and been to the Carlo sandblow, is there anything else to do? Pretty much any suggestions would be welcome.

Youre pretty nearby to the sunshine coast. You could also check out the hinterland.

Next place north worth stopping off is either Agned Waters and 1770 - reasonably quiet coastal town - or yeppon. But yeppoon is around twice the distance and likely out of the way.

There is a doof about 2 hours away next weekend

Is there any way I can get more details about it? I don't have a car but depending on the area I might be able to meet an old friend who might be able to provide transport. Would be unreal to manage to experience a doof before I leave Aus.
