Probably too old for most of the BL crew to know, but Man from U.N.C.L.E. hero, Napolean Solo, and member of the Magnificent Seven, Robert Vaughan died on Friday, 2 days short of his 84 birthday.

he was in the magnificent seven! :) anybody who's considering seeing the remake from this year should just skip it and (re)watch the 1960 original.

They did a remake?

Ali's advice is spot on - don't watch the remake, watch the original (and the Seven Samurai by Kurosawa!). And that's sound advice for most (possibly all) remakes such as The Italian Job and Conan the Barbarian.
