Is this possible? If you take the time to taper your dosage by a small percentage for a 52 week taper schedule until 0.00, is it possible to get off a medication withdrawal free? Relatively speaking obviously it wont be completely eliminated but for the most part: IS IT possible to quit a drug and feel normal? And maybe just pop a loperamide or something for the runs and maybe a little nausea but mostly feel normal?

I will do whatever it takes but dear god withdrawals will make me lose my job and im scared and depressed and need to be done with this shit

Yes it is absolutely possible to slow taper down to a very manageable dose to jump off. The catch with slow tapers is that you need to accept that you aren't going to get high anymore even though you have the drug around you all the time.

What drug are you trying to taper off of?

I did it like this. So yes it's possible. I felt like shit for about a month during the taper but it wasn't a proper withdrawal. This was from a high dose IV habit
