I found some Robotussin Dry Cough Forte, but the active ingredient is different (I think?) than it used to be.

The package used to say Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide.
Now it says: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Monohydrate.

I heard from someone a while back that there is no viable source of DXM in pharmacies in Australia.

What does the monohydrate mean?
Is there a problem consuming 200ml of syrup (containing 600mg of DXM)?

*I realize the syrup itself is not good for you.

It is the same, CAS 6700-34-1. Dextromethorphan hydrobromide is the hydrobromide and monohydrate of the antitussive drug dextromethorphan.

Guaifenesin, polyethylene/propylene glycol, sodium saccharin and sorbitol can cause diarrhea in high doses. I would stay close to a toilet.
Your stomach might not like it either.

So (sorry I'm a science idiot): dex hydro monoydrate is the same as dex hydro?

As far as the diarrhea goes, I drink my own urine when I consume muscimol so a bit of the old liquid shits is not an issue for me.

Yes, it is the same.

If you can get capsules with powder, they hit quite fast and strong compared to mass amounts of syrup or gel caps. But the taste of the powder is pretty nasty, even worse than pure dxm hbr. At least that has such a bitter taste that it numbs your taste buds ;)

Thanks, bud. Appreciated.

I'm going to do one last bottle of syrup.
It's a farewell (to dissociative drugs) dose.

One bottle isn't going to kill me.

Lots of love, my brother/sister. <3
