Stimulants PVCs and stimulant use?

PVCs are very common, so it really boils down to how pathological yours are. And that's information you'd really need to extract from a cardiologist who's had a look at your holter readings, ECGs etc. If they're bad, you'd usually be prescribed something to help avoid the risk of ventricular arrhythmias - which can be very lethal indeed. Have you been to see a specialist?

FWIW sometimes certain types of stimulant can actually 'resolve' some PVCs because they shift the threshold for electrical stimulation in the right direction for you specifically (there are several competing theories for why PVCs occur). But that's something you'd really only discover through personal experimentation.

But basically, and as usual, nobody here can provide the insight I think you're asking for because we aren't your doctor and everyone's different. We can only dole out generic/non-specific advice and would hate to give you a false sense of security (or fear!)

Yes i have been to a specialist. They did a ECHO and ECG (which was quite long - i was hooked up to it for two hours). Both came out perfect expect for the extrasystoles. I got a second opinion and the doctor said my results were quote on quote "de-luxe". My GP also didnt seem concerned. Im waiting for a Holter to check for frequency i guess, but from deduciton i think they dont cross the 1% threshold (1% Is 1000 pvcs, meaning 1 PVC every minute all day - i dont feel them that often, sometimes i do, but often i go for pretty long bouts without them). I think if they would be pathological they would find on the ECHO.

An echo would generally be to look for an underlying structural/hereditary issue, check on valves, take physical measurements, or see if blood is flowing properly out of the chambers (in case of clots etc).

Ask your specialist directly what his opinion is. You can ask in terms of - say - ADHD medications if you need to, but most would likely field a basic question about your personal risks from recreational drug use without batting an eyelid or writing anything down.

Yeah im in Europe and we dont get presribed amps for adhd lol

But i was able to find a cardiologist from my country on reddit and talked with him about it (he is the one who said my resutls were Deluxe before) And he basically said there is more or less no added risk for a person with PVCs or without them.

Ventricular tachycardia is always a risk with stimulants, and without the stimulants chance of getting one with bening PVCs is miniscule.

Crazy, some nurses on reddit were freaking out and an actual cardiologist says there is no risk added.

I know. My question is if me having PVCs and doing stims can lead to something worse. Im okay with having them

I already cut out caffeine. Still working on cutting out my daily 1-2 beers and nicotine pouches habit.
Yes it can cause multiple PVC’s which then can cause V-tach. Just be careful if you are not willing to stop using powerful stims.

I’m not sure I’d take the advice of the cardiologist in your country. In the US no cardiologist would tell a patient there is no risk at all. I DO speak from experience bc I was diagnosed with multiple PVC’s 20 years ago. I had a heart attack not even a year after that diagnosis due to lack of taking care of myself and thinking I was invincible. So, being that you have reached out to others for advice leads me to believe that you are concerned enough to hopefully take care of yourself and be cautious with what you put in your body.
