I have been investigating this plant because its fruits/seeds have been found to contain potent DAT, NET and MAO inhibitors. Theoretically, with the right extraction and route of administration, this could be made into a powerful herbal stimulant. Has anyone had any experience with this plant?

Here's the data:

Inhibits:
- DAT (IC50 620 ng/ml)
- NET (IC50 790 ng/ml)(petroleum ether extract)(PMID 17555897)
- MAO-B (IC50 1.3 ug/mL)(PMC4898948

Antidepressant (PMID 17085027), prevents stress induced increase in cortisol and MAO, estrogenic (PMID 19577453).

Contains:
- Psoralen: Inhibits MAO-A (IC50=15.2 microM)(non-competitive)(PMID 11169165)
- Isopsoralen: Inhibits MAO-A (IC50=9 microM)(non-competitive)(PMID 11169165), MAO-B (IC50=12.8 microM)(competitive)
- Bakuchiol: Regulates catecholamine secretion (PMID 24231057)
- Psoralidin: Inhibits stress induced CRF, ACTH and corticosterone. Increases 5HT, 5HIAA, DA (PMID 18006202)
- Delta-3,2-hydroxybakuchiol: Inhibits DAT (IC50 580 nM)(PMID 19322517), NET (IC50 690 nM)(PMID 18329002)
- Bavachin: Inhibits MAO-B (IC50 8 microM)(PMID 26557867)
- Isobavachalcone
- Genistein (PMID 11669369): GABA-A antagonist (PMID 15451406), inhibits MAO-B, MAO-A (PMID 27118978

psoralen and friends are UV sensitizers that can give you sunburn etc... maybe avoid ingesting those
