I used to hang out at a redneck dive (Coyotes, in Hixson TN, now defunct) 8-10 yrs ago. They had a weekly karaoke night wherein most folks did country standards and maybe a few classic rock songs.
I am NOT a karaoke guy, but I was going thru some emotional shit and drinking heavily at the time. I always did this one, often at risk to my personal safety. It definitely got a reaction.
One time there was a couple visiting from England (God knows why they were in that place) who said I got the accent down perfectly. That is in the top 5 best compliments I've ever gotten in my life!
