Prescription drug question Xanax

I have a prescription for 1mg Xanax, but I recently ran out so a friend gave me the 2mg bars. If I get caught from law enforcement. Will I go to jail even if I have the 1mg prescription.

Yes in the US it has to be exactly what it says it is on the bottle.
