hello

I have taken lyrica a 4/5 times now and the the second last time I took 300 mg and the next day and hand became very swollen painfull/bruised and continued to swell for the next 6 days but by two weeks after the swelling had gone down so I decided to take 150 mg more and now my hand has become very sore and a rash is developing I think and its incredibly itchy. I am quite worried. I will not be taking lyrica for a while. I am afarid it could be some sort of stephens johnson syndrome which can cause excruciating pain and can be life threating. would some sort of opiate help with the pain or would it just make it worse with the itchyness?

If it's an allergic reaction mediated via histamine opioids are a bad idea as most opioids can release histamine, which could worsen your symptoms
Allergic reactions are no joke so imo you shouldn't take pregabalin again and if your symptoms get worse go to a doctor or ER.
