I got prescribed 15 mgs pure codeine phosphate and can take up to 5 a day or if i have real bad pain i may take 12 tablets over the day if my pain is severe anyway i took 6 tablets at once earlier just to try it but it didnt kick in this was 3 or 4 hours ago so i took another 6 tablets just half an hour ago and when i swallowed them i noticed my throat felt like it had something in it which makes sense as i havent felt anything yet and when i burp i noticed it feels like something is being pushed back in my throat and stuff I know im not one of those people who cant get high on codeine as i have had cocodomal tablets which not only works but kicks in in under twenty minutes i guess my question is: can I do anything to get the tablets down my throat and into my system faster would some milk or coffee help for example?

Hmm.. i'd say anything that you can chug to get a constant flow of liquid.

Milk is more viscous than water, so it may help to pull the pills off the walls of your throat.
