He has done MDMA twice. Neither time worked it how he wanted. Can anyone explain? Everyone else had a great experience both times.

1) took 100mg. After an hour nothing happened except he was freezing. At the 1 1/2 hour mark he took another 50 mg because he still didn't feel the effects everyone else was feeling. 30 min after redosing his memory went black. He only remembers passing through two door ways and having a conversation with someone but doesn't remember what they talked about. He acted like his normal self all night as if he didn't do any MDMA. He woke up the next morning feeling normal as if he didn't stay out all night doing MDMA If this is the case why can't he remember what happened?

2) took 200 mg since the first time didn't work out right. 30 min in he immediately started sweating profusely, shaking/shivering, was pale, and didn't talk other than 3-4 words. He was hot so he changed into cooler clothes but was then cold so changed into warmer ones. This lasted for 1-1.5 hours and then he snapped out of it and was acting normal. He doesn't remember anything between the 30 min mark and when he stopped sweating, shaking, and being silent. He then felt very down and sluggish the next day. Why did these things happen?

please help as much as you can! He really wants to have a great time and especially remember it! We're going to a concert soon so fast replies would be great! Why did he black out on 150mg but act normal? Why did 200mg go so bad? How to prevent these things?

Not that if everyone else was fine/had a good time

This isn't really true. All drugs affect different people in different ways, including research chemicals and piperazines. It's entirely possible that when a group of people take a strange drug, one of them will have a worse reaction than the others. Because of this, "everyone else was fine" is not a reliable way to confirm that what OP's friend took was MDMA.

Since, on top of that, the symptoms described in the OP are perfectly consistent with a bad reaction to an MDMA substitute, it's very difficult to say anything more about this situation without confirmation of the substance ID via reagent test.

OP, I strongly recommend to your friend that he invest a few dollars into a test kit with marquis reagent. It is the first step toward finding the answers to your questions, and without it anything else you try may simply be useless.

It sounds like you or they took something other than MDMA and as others have posted the fact that 'everyone was fine' doesn't disprove that. The effects you describe are not typical of MDMA at those doses.

To avoid this happening again invest in a test kit so you know exactly what you're taking in the future. Since nobody can reliably tell you what happened i'm going to close the thread since it partially breaks the rules. Any questions just PM.
