Misc Pirlindole and Metralindole

MAOIs are generally used as the last treatment for depression, and they're known to be quite effective. If this is why you're taking them or considering taking them, then you're likely better off with any other type of antidepressant, maybe even with antipsychotics as an adjunctive therapy. This is mainly because MAOIs come with dietary restrictions. There are so many foods and even other drugs that they are known to interact with, and those interactions can be quite severe. I don't know anything about the two you mentioned specifically, but if you're looking for something to abuse, these are definitely not the drugs you want.

RIMAs like moclobemide aren't last treatment, no need for diet at all because it can get displaced by tyramine, but it didn't work at all for me besides the highest dosage recommended (600mg) and a challenge with 2.5mg d-amphetamine showed strong MAOI activity so Idk but lost my interest in other RIMAs than the harmalines.
