Percocet and Lorazepam question

New here. I have a question. I am prescribed 5mg percocet 2x per day. I am also prescribed .5mg ativan as needed for panic attacks. The doctor and pharmacist did not mention anything about interactions to worry about. But looking online I was concerned. If I have the need to take a .5 mg ativan while on the 5mg percocet will this be a concern? I know there are low doses but want to make sure I am being safe.

If you take the two together, expect to have stronger sedative effects. It is safest to not mix them at all, but at a dose of 5mg oxycodoen and 0.5mg lorazepam, I would not expect too much in terms of negative effects.

Those are small doses and they've been prescribed to you so you will be fine. Just don't increase your dose above what's been prescribed and you have nothing to worry about.
