Safe Supply Results ‘Minimal’

Cabinet’s “safe supply” drug policy has had minimal impacts despite costing more than $820 million, says a health department report. Researchers said while supervised consumption sites saved some lives “opioid-related deaths have remained higher than pre-pandemic levels.”

By googling “opioid-related deaths have remained higher than pre-pandemic levels.” the source report is easily found, but if you had tried to find it by googling

"Cabinet’s “safe supply” drug policy has had minimal impacts despite costing more than $820 million," ..fyou would have been SOL as nothing close appears in the report.

also the figure 820 as in $820 million for safe supply alone is notably absent... [and pretty far fetched sounding] grifters...

edit - funny what they did here, by adding up all the figures in both graphs you do get 820 mill rather than the rounder 800 given in the article,
the selective attention to detail is bizarre , ignoring over half of the money is clearly gone to enforcement alone in the blatant lie all 820 goes to safe supply.
