It's a part time consumer rep public service role for people with experience of drug and alcohol treatment - looks like it's more harm reduction and de-stigmatisation focussed than abstinence focussed.

Salary is $24 - 46 dollars, per annum. Look I know social workers aren't paid what they're worth but that's ridiculous. How are you meant to even live for a day on $46 in Sydney let alone a year. That's like 13c a day. 8(

The NSW Health jobs site is a bit inconsistent about pay. Some jobs are listed by annual gross salary, some are listed by hourly rate, some are listed by weekly wage minus benefits. You generally have to guess which one you're looking at.
