Oxycodone to Fentanyl question

Is it safe to use a 3-day 50mcg fentanyl patch from 240mg/d oxycodone? cheers

does it last 3 days? That doesnt seem high w a 240mg dose. In the hospital they started me at 75mcg when they didnt know anythng about my tolerance. I was in for Noro Virus, Ecoli, and Sepsis. They just happend to catch my heart not pumping blood (30% ejection Fraction) or id be dead now. So many reason I should be dead.

I cant answer as I dont feel confident enough to say. I know in the hospital before they switched me to dilly they gave me fent every 2.5hrs.

Coming from an oral oxycodone dose of 240mg a day, a 50mcg/hr fentanyl would be insufficient. So would 75mcg/hr. You would need an 100ug/hr patch to be close to 240mg/day oral oxycodone.

A 50mcg/hr fentanyl patch will significantly lessen the withdrawal, but it's far from equivalent to 240mg/day oral oxycodone.

I did 240mg oxy daily for few months, it's a pretty damn strong dose!
