So first off, I've been on Celexa for about 2 years now, evened out at a dose for about a year, not sure if that info will be important but it may be. I managed to freak myself out reading about the possibility of Serotonin Syndrome from the combo of Oxycodone and Celexa. I've taken opiates many times before after surgeries and broken bones but never while on an antidepressant. Should I be concerned about this combination? Does anyone have any experience with these two medications and possible interactions? Is Serotonin Syndrome a real problem with these? I know in the long drug interactions post it says that opiates are safe to use with an SSRI but I still feel like it'd be best to ask first.
