Opium is it injectable

Injecting opium would be like injecting broccoli soup...

A tremendously bad idea on several levels.

If anyone’s seen ‘Czech Heroin Holiday’ by Vice on YouTube the users on there inject it and only use shitty cotton as a filter which I imagine is extremely dangerous!

They also think that heating it in vinegar (5% acetic acid) will acetylate the morphine into Heroin, which it obviously doesn’t.

There are injectable pharmaceutical forms of opium but all they are is all the opiates from opium extracted and in the exact ratio that they are in opium but obviously sterile for injection.
Pantopon by Hoffman La-Roche which came out in 1909 and is also known as Opium Alkaloids Hydrochlorides is basically injectable opium.
Omnopon is similar but just codeine, morphine and papaverine in the same ratios as opium.
These preparations are apparently less likely to cause allergy than just morphine.

If you were to get some micron-filters you could inject it, as that would remove all the fats, proteins in the opium and anything else potentially there like bacteria and fungi from when you harvest it but it’d let the alkaloids through though.

Yes it is. Haven't done it myself but have seen dudes doing it. They say it hurts, kind of burn and that the typical morph pins&needles get too intense, almost painful. Seem some of them suffering massive histamine release where they went all redish and itchy.
Years ago there were Pantopón and Tebaicín, pharma opium ampoules. Those were the days if you were into iving opium

sounds right, the histamine release on codeine is almost if not dangerous IV and morphine also has that real heavy pins and needles followed by a histamine release so big its kind of a buzzkill....can't tell if you missed or not. This was 15 yrs ago, idk if the pills are still shootable. (not that it ever was a good idea)
