I forget if this belongs in BDD or OD, so I flipped a hypothetical coin and picked here.
Anyway, I wondering if anyone experiences this phenomenon.
When I lay down when under the acute effects of opiates (even buprenorphine after I skip a day), if I meditate, holding my mind empty and allow myself to sort of drift into whatever states opiates take me to.
My body will sort of go numb (in a really euphoric, enjoyable way), and if I continue with it, I'll eventually start seeing these "mind movies" like dreams, that for the most part tend to be rather short.
But they only persist as long as I don't notice them, if that makes sense. Once I begin to think about them they disapear.
It's a really weird thing.
I do a lot of meditating, and unfortunately I can only obtain it if I've used opiates. I find it to be the most enjoyable aspect of opiate use, actually. I assume that because I'm able to obtain this with relatively low doses of opiates that my meditation probably has a degree of impact on the experience, correct?
I've rarely truly nodded, but when I have had similar experiences.
Is this most peoples experience?
