For those who have been reading my notes, you know my son has a very scary and devastating disease, GM1 Gangliocidosis (type II). Because of this, there are some major medical costs coming our way in terms of hospital bills, therapies, hearing aids, walkers, travel for treatment, and problems with time off from work.
In the spirit of helping out, MK and the rest of the kind people at Vex are allowing us to throw a benefit night ...to raise some money to help defray a few of the costs involved, along with the help of some kind musical souls providing the beat for the evening.

A 15-year veteran of the area scene, Soniq has spun tracks at some of the area's biggest clubs, and done national tour dates with some of the industry's biggest artists, like Irene, Jesse Saunders, Rip, and Delta 9. Soniq also held down a nearly 4-year stint on the world's #1 breaks radio station, BreaksFM. Taking his moniker from his versatility, Soniq might throw classic hip-hop, driving hard house, or floor rattling breakbeats at you, all in the same set.

Excel from Cincinnati Ohio has been in the EDM scene since 2000. Influenced by the seemless mixes of those like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Louie DeVito, the dance floor pounding of those like Bam Bam, Baby Anne, Mike Fixx, and the window shaking of those like Dieselboy, AK1200 and Nero to name a few. He has played many house parties and few small club events and is ready to rock it for any crowd with a strong passion for EDM
