Ohio marijuana issue 3 coming up!

It took me exactly 6 months to go from growing shit weed that I couldn't get rid of to growing some of the best stuff I've ever had.

3 grows, 6 months. I was using two rooms, one for flower and one for veg so I grew slightly faster than normal, but I would bet that 3 full grows are enough for most people who are genuinely interested in growing to grow BOMB ass bud. Obviously, you can't expect the good results to come without work, but that's true with anything.

BTW I've heard many growers (with decade+ experience) state the exact same thing. It only takes 3 grows to be FUCKING AWESOME. No joke.

ResponsibleOhio has been running hog wild with this bill. The monopoly thing is terrible but beyond that, they just don't seem to know what they're doing. One word: Buddie. For anyone unfamiliar, Buddie is ResponsibleOhio's weed superhero mascot. Shades of Joe Camel. These are not the images we want associated with legalization.

This is properly grown black market Ohio weed from a friends grow (Team_Dab on IG so you know I'm not just pulling random pictures off google) who's been at it for awhile. I've tried growing so I'm not talking out of my ass when I say there's no way I'd be able to pull this kind of trichome production, and I highly doubt most people would be able to do so within their first few attempts even with the exact same setup. I'd really like to see some proof that you're pulling as high or better quality than this with a few months of experience.

Top left is pre98 and illodium? ( i think that's how you spell it)
Next to that on the top is the frostbite from kushlab genetics (permafrost x phantom cooks)
In the jar is Fire Alien Dreams by I don't know what breeder
Even the cannatonic in the 2 bottom left are completely greased (2nd picture was taken earlier).

^ You hang out in the social right? You should know what my pre-98 bubba already looks like

Let's compare apples with apples shall we? This was grown with <1 year experience, using a 400watt HPS (you can't get much cheaper!!!--what did you say HIS set up was again?)

Here's my pre-98 Bubba

That does look flame, and I think could smell the coffee terps coming off the picture. But IMHO I don't think the vast majority of people are going to have their first few harvests look like that. I really believe you're an exception.

He's running two 1k HPS, but it's a pretty substantial room and he's got quite a few ladies in there. He's got a few canopy shots on his page.

I'm still going to be stubborn about responsible ohio though, and I'm going to shut up about it before I get anymore butthurt lol. Having someone barge into your state and set up a several hundred million dollar monopoly is fucking bullshit.

Perhaps I'm subconsciously jealous because I didn't come up with the plan to extort people for their medicine. Maybe a market with no competition is exactly what we need here in Ohio when everyones out of work. Fuck creating jobs, fuck the sick people who won't be able to grow their own medicine who physically can't do it + nonviolent criminals, lets get that money. Gotta get it somehow right? fuck having morals the Murican business way!!!!

FYI when us idiots in Ohio voted the casino monopoly in everyone thought we'd be able to change it. Years later we haven't changed shit, and it's actually harder since it got past the same anti monopoly bill that RO got past too and we voted it in. What makes you think we'll be able to change this for those who think it's a good step forward towards legalization?

At this rate we should just change our mascot from the Buckeyes to the dude on the cover of the Monopoly boardgame it's a much better fit.

At the time, I DID have a medical card (pot wasn't legal then), which helps with availability--things like cheap easy top shelf clones, but rec legalization is giving it a run. Both the med and rec legalization movements can be extremely helpful I really don't think I'm much of an exception, especially when compared to people who live in legal and/or medical states.

Anyway, I think the mascot is a good example of the craziness that must be going on in Ohio right now. That thing...just no.

Well I'm sorry for coming over as a complete immature asshole the past couple days and my last post saying every new grower is incompetent. I'm in no way trying to attack anyone I just really am a salty sailor over this and I'm venting it towards you guys. I really do appreciate the dialogue and I think it's very much needed. I also apologize for my butthurtness I have right now lol. I usually don't come across as a 13 year old girl, but I'm just extremely passionate about this.

No worries man. It's good that you have your opinion on this. I really had no idea that it could potentially be a monopoly so I learned something myself. I was simply trying to provide an option for people who may be interested in growing.

I will say this: Healthy (read: not a monopoly) competition has been one of the best things for legal marijuana in not only price but quality as well.

So I found the bill that would kill Responsible Ohio, I don't know when this finishes, but it looks like it's already winning.
https://www.legislature.ohio.gov/legislation/legislation-votes?id=GA131-HJR-4

If ^ This bill passes, there is no way ResponsibleOhio will do anything. Even if RO voted YES by majority- resolution 4 will shoot it down.

If resolution 4 passes, then ResponsibleOhio is dead in the water. They would have to completely re-do their tax design and something tells me they want nothing to do with that, so if they get shot down by resolution 4 they will take their campaign money and run.

However, if you mean how to help the legalization movement push forward, then there is always something you can do.

You can join the Ohio Normal group.

The Ohio Rights Group looks legit to me at a glance.

Start your own chapter. Call your representatives.

Print out flyers and pass them out to people.

The list goes on.

I agree, I'm all for Norml and the Ohio rights chapter but they just don't have the funding right now compared to Responsible Ohio. RO has Nick Lashay from the back street boys, an ex-NBA player who's also stacked with cash Oscar Roberston, an NFL legend Frostee Rucker, and a few other sketchy people with a lot of money to do whatever they want. From what I heard they spent 20 million collecting signatures over the past few months (word of mouth not sure can probably look it up) but they're stacked with dumb money and that's how they're successful

We need all the luck we can get
