Ill start by saying If your going to tell me to stop doing drugs then fuck off because every situation is different. I am pretty well aware of dangers and harmful side effects.. I know that if theres an OD call an ambulance. Blah blah blah.

So I've been using meth for around a 5 months though, everyday fir about a month now. I for the most part use it for my ADD also to help my depression, and motivation to be productive. I dont consume it to get high as I dont really like tweaking. Ive personally always been a pothead (until anxiety ruined that) and loved Opiates eapecially the injection of Heroin. Its never really given me euphoria or anything like some people say. I almost dont even feel anything at all. I would describe it as an equivalent as Aderall or Dextroamphetamine which I was perscribed for a couple years when younger. I use very little at a time but multiple times. Anyway, earlier tonight I had an odd reaction. I woke up around 6pm (work graveyard shifts) I have had very little to eat lately. So I smoked a small bowl of meth one very tiny shard Id compare to the size of a peice of pencil led. I also let two small shards (another pencil led size and one jist barely bigger) disolve in i think around .6 ml of water (half of u100 syringe without needle) plugged half, and left half the syringe. Everything was fine but ive almost been getting tired from meth lately. About 45 minutes later I decided to smoke 1 more pencil led sized shard and plug the rest. If it helps the amount of meth was probably .1 g maybe a little more. A most .2 grams. About an average dose for me.

Anyway I plugged the second half and started smoking the bowl. . I took probably 5 fat hits and then something happened ive never expeienced. About 5 to 10 minutes after plugging I was sitting on the floor pipe in hand still hitting it, and right after a hit my head started to feel odd. Almost like light headed or dizzy. My vision changed. I cant tell exactly how, maybe darker. I definetly saw dots or fuzziness and there was tiny trails after anything that moved. It hit me like bricks. Immediately I thought "im overdosing" and my balance was off but I could move completely normal and everything. I laid in bed for a second and then got up because someone asked me to turn off the fan. I did not want to tell them what was going on so i did and then i started to look for my work schedule. My thoughts were a little confused but nothing major. I continued to draw like I had been before hand and I was a little shakey but that is very common for me (for years and when sober). The dots/color, and dizziness last 3 - 7 minutes Id say. My stomach has had very minor pain, but I doubt its related. Other than that I do not remeber the other effects but if someone was to state one I am sure I would. It is now probably 3 or 4 hours later, and I feel fine very curious as to what happened.

Ive done research and the only two things I could assume is either Vasoconstriction or lack of food, sleep, and water. Off the top of my head I don't maybe its possible for the cut to do this. Ive eaten and drank water since. Anyone know what this is? I have never felt it and it was an average dose for myself. Should I be worried or is this a common reaction. Also hypothetically I smoked a bowl would it come back? I am really debating amoking some weed but its not always worth it. + if this for whatever reason has to do with heart or blood pressure weed definitely wouldnt help. Any dangers, signs, symptoms, or advice is much appreciated. Be safe everyone.

P.S. If anyone can tell me why its been making me tired id like to know. One morw thing. if anyone knows anything to calm anxiety, blood pressure, or heartrate when smoking weed (or mixing both) then I MUST hear it. Obviously Benzos and stuff but im talking about anything else. Maybe even OTC drugs. Thanks.

I'm not a meth person so I couldn't venture a guess. Moving to Basic Drug Discussion and perhaps someone could help.

I've never used meth and do not want to but it could be an overdose, or as you posted it could be from lack of sleep, not eating/low blood sugar, and being dehydrated. Get some rest, eat some food, and drink some water, and stay safe.

I don't smoke meth (yet) but was also going to say sounds like low blood sugar. Shaky, lightheaded/dizzy, stomach pain (not eating enough), all signs. Once healed they usually make me tired too.

Hi I will be grateful if you can share if you struggle with chronic if dizziness / head pressure after overdose. I am 8 weeks after overdose and suffer from this symptom. Here is my original post https://www.bluelight.org/xf/threads/meth-overdose-chronic-dizziness.883511/

You honestly probably just had a combo of head rush from dope soaking into your rectal skin right as you were hitting the pipe, probably worsened if you say down or got up fast, then worsened by the panic of wondering if you fucked up and ODed (you didn't lol) If you'd been going awhile without sleep and food, and probably way less water than you need, all that could play a role. I do like the occasion meth binge, and once in awhile that weird panic can creep up and freak you out, I always remind myself of a biophysiological of drugs class I took in college, the text book actually said real OD, as in fatal or near fatal, from meth is extremely rare, and typically with shooting it, then take deep breaths and just go sit alone somewhere for a few. Luckily meth does get my heart pounding like coke can do, that's a lot harder to talk yourself out of than when it happens on meth! All in all, you probably just need a nap followed by healthy smoothie and lots of water.

Meth makes me tired when I smoke too much. It literally has the reverse effect on me. Usually I switch up my roa from snorting to smoking to avoid that.

I've never shot up so I cant relate to that but I have been using 7 years, daily, with the exception of quitting once for 15 months.

I've had a bunch of weird things happen to my body from it, high blood pressure, hot blotchy red legs, swollen ankles, to severe pain in my feet, and so many more weird things.

The symptoms you describe I've gotten before when I've eaten dope. As soon as it hits me, it's like intense, the walls look like their moving and my body feels crazy weird and I always think, oh my I've ate too much..... but then it goes away in 5 or 10 mins and I feel great. It could of been everything hitting you all at once.

Another thing that could be making you tired is a cutting agent in your dope. Maybe its the same batch because you said it's been happening recently. Cutting agents can make you tired. In that case, you need to test and/or wash your dope to help reduce some of the cut.

Or maybe smoking just ain't your thing. I know several people who dont smoke, they say it doesnt get them high.

I believe it's pretty hard to overdose on dope, you feel really really shitty before you reach the point of overdosing. Your body will tell you that you've had enough and even the thought of redosing will repulse you. (That's with smoking and snorting, idk about shooting up)

i have also an odd reaction: to the point where i consomue too much i think im getting panic attack.
its always the same: the pressure in my left arm becomes too strong, and i felt like im getting a hard attack or stroke.
then i call the taxi or ambulance and go to the hospital before i reach the hospital the symptoms are gone or at least not so strong anymore.
but i have to say it happened always to me when i was 1 day sleep deprived.
i hate that feeling thats why im afraid of meth

If it's actual methamphetamine, you'd have to ingest a very large amount in a very small window of time to "overdose". At which point your body temperature would likely reach fever levels and stroke/cardiac arrest wouldn't be far off if medical attention wasn't sought.

bbut i have to say everytime i did it was in the night because then my parents slept and i had enough time and silence to watch porn.
hm maybe thats why i panniiced ?

Now, too much can be alot or not much at all, it just depends what's going on. Usually there are two concerns with taking too much methamphetamine (MA), and they are Psychosis, and Hyperadgrenic 'states'. Put simply, Psychosis is anything from mild anxiety or disphoria all the way to full blown panic or hallucinations. The second problem and not to be a fear merchant, but in the extreme, it can be damaging or fatal. Hyperadgrenic problems, are things like high blood pressure, tachycardia(fast heart beat), heart attack, breathing difficulties etc. It is fair to say that if your concerned about your mental or physical health, especially from taking MA, call the emergency ward or an ambulance. Paramedics and Doctors, in my experience especially when dealing with stimulant overdose, generally have a positive attitude in treating you, positive in attitude and treatment. I have always been given Diazepam (Valium), it is often first line for people presenting with meth stimulation, first line in the medical literature and in most ER units. I once took myself to an ER for diabetes related issues, and as the doctor examined me he also asked about my tachycardia and I told him that I had been up all night and had had some MA. He along with treating me for what I had come in for also gave me diazepam to have there and then and some to take with me when I left, never once becoming condescending.
The other things they may also check are your vitals and any of the adgrenic problems. Once twelve hours after indulging in MA, my heart rate was not only moving at an increased rate, it was very forceful. My chest had a mild ache, I started to have a headache and this stressed me further. So reaching into my own bag, I took a dual beta blocking / alpha 1 blocker called labetolol (also used in emergency settings exactly for this reason). Although this had only a small effect on my tachycardia, it had an outstanding result in reducing the force of the beat. Labetolol is often given over standard beta blockers like metoprolol as a first line treatment for blood pressure crisis. While I will admit this seemed to correct both my mental and physical issues. I am not a cardiologist. In a hospital setting there are many many things they can do to treat the almost endless things that can go wrong with your heart, lungs, blood and vascular systems. So if your worried about how you feel after taking MA, call an ambulance, at best it may be a false alarm in which they will be happy to tell you, at worst they will most likely calm you and provide necessary care and attention.

It's hard to diagnose remotely, but I feel the most likely candidate for causing these symptoms would be vasoconstriction or an otherwise effected blood pressure issue. I dont believe it is a serious problem so long as you're alert and conscious
