I have been smoking meth on and off for the past 2 weeks. I've been trying to quit it because I definitely don't have the self-discipline necessary to enjoy it and I'm about to join a support group so I've been going on my last bender for the time being.
My question is: I had a great porn/jerking off session 2 days ago, for hours, which is what I usually crave when doing meth. Then after it was over I managed to sleep and eat properly.
So today, after supposedly feeling ok and well rested, I decided to give it a try again. Had a few hits...nothing. I felt some tingling and heart beating a bit faster but absolutely no arousal, not horny. Tried to watch some porn videos and nothing and this is coming from a guy that 2 days ago was watching porn as if it was the most fascinating thing in the world.
What does that mean, does that mean that I might have depleted my dopamine for the time being? Is there no other solution to get me in that "zone" again other than lay off the pipe for a week?
