no sex for over a year

my man and I haven't had sex for over a year because he can't get it up due to years of drug use - speed, meth and heroin. We have tried viagra and cialis but they make him sick and nearly cause heart failure.
Does anyone else have this problem and if so any suggestions as to what we can try?
I love him and wouldn't ever leave him or cheat.

Are you sure it's drug related? If you haven't seen a specialist I'd put that first on the list.

It sounds like he's got a blood pressure problem. Go see a doctor, that's really all you can do.

Could be a mental thing too. If he's so convinced in his head that he's broken, he will be. Drugs can do that too.
 
long term opiate or meth use can destroy a persons sex drive or ability...many ssris can ruin a persons sex drive as well..is he still on drugs now, any drugs at all, either scripted or non??is his ability get it up the problem or does he just have no sex drive??definitely have him get his hormone levels checked, that would be a good first step...im in good shape and eat right and i can get it up but my desire just isnt there for the most part..
 
Just his ability to get it up, still has desire though. No not on drugs anymore but maybe the damage is done. Thanks for your advice :)

he should get his hormone levels checked, maybe he has low testosterone levels?
 
I have this issue also and i wish i knew the answers it is so gard to go for long time. I feel your fustration

Great observation. However, some BP meds can cause a limp peen.
 
Better go to a doctor
