I dont smoke myself, but my brother does smoke under the fan in the kitchen sometimes. I have my room downstairs and always close the doors to the upstairs so I dont feel any smell or get any smoke down here, I think at least. My mom has always been smoking too so I guess Im kinda used to it.
I have read on different sites that smoking lower the effects of benzos like Xanax for example by as high as 50%. I dont know if its a myth or not. Im benzo clean atm I quit because of tolerance(they didnt work anymore). Is this true? Anyone with some information? My questions are:
1) How much passive smoking am I exposed to? Could that affect the effect from benzos when im not smoking myself? Im sometimes walking by the kitchen and feel the smell, thats kind of it. Or sometimes when someone smokes under the fan.
2) Is it only when you have it in your body that the effects from benzos could be lowered? Or permanent lower effect?
