There are some of those Ice ads near my place in Melbourne. They're fucking stupid, with, like tronica said, the possible exception of "Smoking Ice doesn't make it less addictive". But hello, you're smoking it out of a crack pipe, isn't that a hint?

None of them would have bothered me back when I was taking meth regularly, and the one that says all that crap about battery acid, etc would have given me the confidence to ignore the others, because obviously its the government with its same old bullshit.

Plenty of the things they say are true, such as meth can cause mental health problems, is very addictive, can lead to psychosis, but I think that any message they're trying to get across will be lost completely because of the misinformation and exaggerated scare tactics.

Its clear who they're trying to look after, and its themselves, not drug users, and not even the general public.
