Stimulants New user, curious about others experiences using some over the counter options

That isn't legal in the US though right? I've heard of khat and never had the opportunity to try it.
 
It's not OTC per se, but it is very easy to get without a script. Modafinil. I like to take it on the days I don't take my adderall.

How is the modafinil compared to adderall in terms of alertness? If I take 15-30mg in the morning of adderal I feel awake but I start crashing around 5hrs after my dose, and my second dose increases the peripheral stimulation a lot more than than it increases my CNS activity which can be pretty unpleasant until I can take my xanax.
Does the modafinil work just as well for focus and alertness without the uncomfortable PNS side effects I've always wanted to try this one.
