Neurotoxicity after use

I am trying to wrap my head around the neurotoxicity of mdma and the garbage that it gets laced with. Ive done some googling but I have not found an answer to the question that I have in mind- Does MDMD and/or adulerants continue to have a neurotoxic effect after the drug has left your system? If so, how does this happen and is there any way to reduce it?

Not really...neurotoxicity comes from acute things that take place when you take the drug. Stuff like brain swelling from hyperthermia could continue for a short time I suppose
