RCs Negative Side effects from Etizolam ?

I'll often take 1mg at the weekend with a little alcohol and cannabis. I've only ever eaten 2mg in one go and that was to try and get some sleep after using stimulants.

I can't say I've experienced any unpleasant side effects as described by the OP, nor have I built any tolerance using weekly.

And you probably won't unless you use more than once a week. But if you start chasing some feeling, you'll be fucked before you truly know what's happening. I bet it's more insidious with benzos, because it's not as smack you in the face euphoric as opioids, they're just calming.

^True..
You would think opiates giving their great euphoria would pack more of a punch when coming off them.
Especially with benzos being rather more subtle in effects, in fact it's backwards.

I admit, i should have stuck with opiates.. but i beat that beast almost 2 years ago. (minus kratom once in a while)
Benzos are a WHOLE different level and it seems to not add up right with the intensity of wds with a drug that gives subtle feelings of comfort especially if just using them for anxiety or a disorder and aren't even chasing a high.

I was warned many times of the wds, but i said in my head.. i beat opiates, im sure i can beat these when the time comes.
I was wrong and admit it. It's a mindfuck and a half (for me anyways already having schizoaffective D.O.).

Maybe some people go through it easier than others, but what really confuses me is i tapered off clonazepam over a years time almost painlessly.
With etiz, even the slightest dose change blows goats.
I would say the wds from the 2 are different completely, for some it is easier.. for others not so much.
Guess it depends on the person is what im gathering from the few reports of etizolam wds that i have seen on here.

TBH I think I'm just a pussy for pain, so I maintain with loperamide. Though it doesn't have CNS action I know it ain't great for my mental and physical well-being.

With benzos I suppose it matters whether you are prone to anxiety, I'm not in particular. But someone who became dependant treating an anxiety disorder and upped their prescribed dose, or bought stuff online, the refractory anxiety has to be killer shit. In opioid withdrawal the worse parts are the autonomic overexcitation (can't ever find any clonidine online, and I'm not telling any fucking doctor about my problem. Ever. Bullshit I can find every benzo and stimulant and even opioid I want, but nooooo not an anti-hypertensive), and really the fucked up leg pain. But I think that could even be bearable with some short term benzos and clonidine. I dunno. At least my habit consists of stuff I can buy on amazon lol.

Did you take the pills of etizolam? Since last Oct. I've gone through 1.5g of pure powder, and haven't felt a single withdrawal symptom. Now, most of that time I was doing opioids, and when I had them I didn't take any so there were plenty of breaks. I've put my foot firmly down to 'real' opioids so etizolam isn't as dangerous (or at all) as with morphine. I'll have to just be careful, I only bought 1/4g this time instead of a full one :) Guess that's a start. I've mainly been using it to feel better while on stimulants, but I've found that a beta blocker works WAY better (and I could find no article ANYWHERE saying metoprolol is contradicted with ethylphenidate and it actually makes the eph more enjoyable. Honestly, I need to chill out, go back to taking 5-7mg of 3-meo-pcp a day which gives me motivation and energy, and no anxiety whatsoever.

My 500mg of 3-aco-DMT will be here soon, and that'll be new to me so I'll probably be busy with that anyway - heh.

Yeah I take the pills- Etizest 1mg tablets

And about not being able to find clonidine online, maybe look for guanfacine. I was on clonidine back in the day .2am .2pm but am now on 1mg guanfacine 2x day and it works just as well if not better than clonidine did. Although it seems to have a slow onset on me.. clonidine (if i took too much for any reason) would have me unable to move without the feeling of passing out within 30min.
With guanfacine i haven't taken any more than what im rx'd so i donno if it would do the same or not.

Shit, this would be all self medication to deal with the overactive sympathetic bullshit that comes with withdrawal. I'd be taking it "as needed" so the slow onset would be a bad thing. Is there a tolerance/dependence thing with these sympatholytic α2 adrenergic agonists?

Edit: looks like they can cause rebound hypertension and need to be tapered. Honestly though, if I can't find clonidine without going to some bullshit place, I doubt I'm gonna find any in this class. Why the fuck can I find viagra from China but not this shit? I wasn't even looking nor did I want viagra (it was at some e-cig shop I bought pure nicotine from which smelled so gross I never fucked with it lol).

Two things I've looked for that are impossible, drugs of the class mentioned above, and opioid antagonists.
But I sure as hell can find highly potent opioids? What is wrong with this picture?

I've taken etizolam for the past 1yr and a bit and I take use it daily when I have it until my supply runs out. I haven't noticed blepharospasms but I do get nervous twitches esp in the eyes where I blink more frequent. What I do notice even when I switch to lorazepam or clonazepam after I run out of etizolam is a feeling of depression/anger, for about 2-3days. I go though quite a bit though when I use it.

Constant eye twitching, uncontrollable watery eyes, constant facial spasms, like the need to keep stretching my mouth and face out. Really nasty and annoying stuff. My eyes get swollen and red and I look cracked out. The duration and price just isn't worth the side effects. Of course everyone responds differently and a lot of people have no side effects. On Wiki it says that the blepharospasms come after prolonged use, but I noticed it after 2 weeks of 2 mg a day. I can't believe people are taking over 10mg a day of this stuff. Most people report that the withdrawels were mild, but for me they sucked. Felt similar to phenibut but with added horrible depersonalization. They are amazing for sleeping, can't deny that. I think they're fine for occasional panic attacks.
You might considerin moving to another GABA-ergic compound althoghether. Maybe the thienodiazepenis like Metizolam, Deschloro-Etizolam, or just straight regular benzodiazepines on the RC Market, like for instance could be of some more some benefit to you?

Personally, I haven't experienced any negative side-effect from Etizolam, but I am aware that different people react to different substances in different ways, although the side-effects of Etizolam are quite well documented.

What about the regular benzodiazepine RC's? There are a lot of them, among others there are Diclazepam, Flubromazepam, Flubromazolam, Clonazolam, Fluitrazolam (although I would stear clear of this compound until more research is done - multiple reports of potentailly lethal epileptic seizures involving this chemical are surfacing as of lately), Adinazolam, Nimetazepam, Nimetazepam,... and a whole lot of other Benzodiazepine RC's are available depending on where in the world that you live.

Where were you looking for exactly, effects-wise, in the Etizolam? Where you using it for its therapeutical values or where you seeking some sort of high. Personally, I could care less, as I have used Benzodiazepine RC's for both purposes, so I won't be judging you in any way, shape or form. I'm just here to help you and if required, I will do so to the vert best of my abilities. I know that I'm not a frequent poster on this forum (or any other forum whatsoever), but I do read about pharmacology/novel compounds/chemistry/... daily for multiple hours.

Just send me a Personal Message and I'll get back to you as soon a s I can.

There is one question that I would like to ask you straith-away: this Etizolam, was it he Brand name Etizolam (Etizest/Etilaam/... if so, what Brand was it and did they come in blister packs?), was it a powered you purchased online, were it generic vendor-pressed pellets, of was it in some other form?

I'm in the middle of the most rapid taper I can stomach, simply because the blepharospasming has become so pronounced it's actually disruptive to my life.

I actually don't find the WDs from Etizolam to be that horrible. I have jumped down now to 0.25mg before bed, which I think is largely placebo.

I just wanted to bump this old thread with my experience because it comes up near the top of a google search about Etiz tapering and side effects.

I've used Etiz sporadically since 2011 and I never had the blepharospasm until this year when I began to use daily. I was up to about ~3-4mg a day and the blepharospasm was effecting my vision and functioning.

not to worry Phatology - benzo's do not make people go blind.
but the redness in your eyes may be because of withdrawals, when was your last dose?
or, it could just be that you are tired or high.

but you are not going blind, don't worry about that.

Thank You very much for fast answer- Then i can calm down and just go for my normal dosage todays evening

Maybe it really was because of withdrawal... but it was only 0.5mg difference between day before and that one

Homever i have changed of sort Then aswell so maybe that was because of it

Thanks again for calming me down- that was only thing scarying me... blind=suicide for me :)

First post under this account, one of my first dozen of all times but I believe I lost the password to recover my old account.

Anyways, I am a heavy benzo user once again after trying to kick Clonazolam and Diclazepam simultaneously. Great idea until my doctor decided it was totally ethical to take me off of benzos completely and put me on an anti-epileptic bed called Keppra which does indeed prevent seizures, but it causes extreme headaches and irritability. I recently decided to just go back on diclazepam and still have yet to find it again now that I'm looking which sucks but regardless:

i took I believe 5mg throughout yesterday which barely made a dent in my withdrawal symptoms but then the weirdest thing happened and even continued after I took 4mg of all. My eye started twitching and didn't stop for maybe 8 straight hours. I've taken etizolam as a novelty for years and not once has that ever happened to me. Just thought I'd post my two cents about that particular effect since I've been taking every type of benzo under the sun for about a decade now and was even prescribed 1.5mg of klon a day but I would take the entire bottle of 45mg in less than 4 days. Off topic but even 45mg of klon has less bad withdrawal symptoms than clonazolam. Never have I gone completely numb consistently after stopping a benzo. Not even when I was taking like 6mg of xan on top of my roughly 12mg of klon per day. Not to mention I am major poly drug user who uses a little bit of everything along with his benzos. But still that eye twitch deal was surprisingly accurate for me, I'm sure some folks never ever experience it. Probably just a body chemistry thing.
