the only thing you have to remember about that statement is this :

what if the 5 miles off shore scenario was suddenly created because your living room wall was toppled over by a 50 foot tidal wave right as you were sitting down to your favorite porno video shortly after getting high.

Pretty sure I'd be a little too taken by surprise and or in pain to be able to swim 5 miles through a raging swirling sea full of floating rubble, automobiles, and dead bodies.

its huge. just one big excuse for everyone in memphis to get fucked up beyond belief and watch some shows.



edit: the entire month of may is designated for get togethers in memphis

the first weekend is music fest

the second weekend is an uppity type ball thing that you have to pay massive amounts of money to attend


the third weekend is BBQ fest....which is so fucking awesome, the best BBQ, free alcohol, easily my most favorite of the events

the last weekend is the "sunset symphony"...bunch of people go out at tom lee park at night and listen to a big ass symphony and drink all night.
