I've done some research regarding the impact a vitamin D3 deficiency can cause (excessive sweating, inexplicable body pain, headaches, digestive issues, fatigue, sexual dysfunction and more) but can narcotics cause or exacerbate a D3 deficiency? Do narcotics have an impact on other vitamin absorption and does it matter if the vitamins are fat or water soluble?

There has been evidence that low Vit D can increase both pain and the amount of opiates a patient takes but dont think its conclusive. Much of it is probably related more to lifestyle and diseases that are often seen with addicts. Nutrition as well.

But as far as narcotic painkillers actually causing Vit D deficiency or preventing absorption of Vit D, I dont believe that to be the case at all.
