Stimulants Muscle fasciculations after heavy extacy/ketamine use

i developed some kind of twitching after getting a high dose of extacy and probably ketamine in an 8 hour period + some kind of desrealization. Anxiety has made It worse during time. I made an EMG, Mri and bloodtest and everything is clean. Is this due to drugs or can be just because of the panic attack i had(probably ptsd) ? Still twitching persistently in calves and have other nervous system symptoms(tingling, pre cramps) after 10 months, been sobre since the incident. Before the incident i used Hard drugs 3 times per year

I’ve heard of ketamine doing some pretty serious damage to your nervous system when you ingest high amounts. And for the E I’m assuming it contained amps, most e on the streets is mostly amphetamines. Doing drug combinations like these can develop some serious complications, serotonin syndrome is a nasty one.

Hi thank for the answer. Doubt about bseretonin syndrome, after All médical test that show theres nothing wrong with nerv es, brain or spine. Seen bunch of specialist and all say its fasciculations triggered by anxiety and stress , but I still think there could be something unbalanced in my system. Pretty hard one.

Another weird one is that before the incident i usted to have fasciculations triggered by stress and anxiety but hey use to last only couple of weeks

Anyway ket is know for causing some long term effects, but mostly because people using it don’t take the time to test their drugs which I can’t stress enough. Seen it once too many times, people buying drugs at a club or getting them from a “trusted” friend and it’s not as advertised. Most episodes like this I’ve experienced included flashbacks, usually onset with anxiety. Basically over stimulating damaged receptors. Are you positive it was ket?
Searching around into some effects of synthetic drugs might do you more justice.
Also if you had to guess, what was an average dosage consumed at the time\ usual dose in past occasions?

Thanks for your reply man its a good theory. Hope its just benign fasciculations syndrome, wich i had(less se veré) before consuming that much.

thats Definitely plausible. Also makes sense considering I read that 82% percent of cases included clear EMG and nerve studies.Thanks for the insight as well.
